This project is an interview with the developer of the new indie game that you are interested in. This time, we will deliver a mini-interlocked show to developers pulling no punches , a satire belt scrolling action released on August 16 for PC/Mac developer for PC/Mac.
This work is a traditional arcade style belt scroll action. In the global pandemic, the player characters who wear the mask will let the people who do not masks with their fists. At the time of writing, it is not compatible with Japanese.

— First, please introduce yourself. What is your favorite game?
BRAINDEAD BROCCOLI This studio is a Brazilian indie game studio and specializes in dark comedy style satire games. Our teams are creating a satire game that features a surreal, real, and violent expression, influenced by masterpiece arcade games, underground comics, animation for adults, and actually happening. 。
Since we are six development teams, each favorite game is different. I wrote this, ULISSES (producer and programmer of this work) loves adventure games such as 3D Mario, BIOSHOCK, and adventure games like Disco Elysium.
――Why did this work developed?
BRAINDEAD BROCCOLI The concept of this work was born in July 2020 when many people escaped from isolation and many people stop wearing masks. Initially, this project was a game-making practice, just a personal 1. However, as more people participated in the project, more people became interested, and this work was completed as a more professional form.

BRAINDEAD BROCCOLI This work provides a very impactful experience. With a punch of each shot, you get the feeling of defeating the enemy. According to the feedback received, the players seem to be pleased with the feeling of making the enemy bumpy!
In addition, handwritten smooth animation, type of enemy of each stage, surprisingly bad bosses, unique movements that can unlock each playable character, and very detailed background!
――What kind of person do you want this work to play?
BRAINDEAD BROCCOLI I want various people to play this work. If you like old-fashioned arcade-style belt scrolling actions, you will like the fusion of traditional gameplay and modern and polished systems.
I think that this work can be enjoyed very much for casual gamers and people who do not usually play games who want to enjoy a story about the history of pandemic. As you proceed on the stage, beginners can enjoy all the systems happily, and the tutorial will tell you how to fight according to the beginner player strategy.
— Is there any work influenced by this work?
BRAINDEAD BROCCOLI This work is an arcade game such as Bear Knuckle series, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtles Inn Time, The Simpsons Game, and masterpieces. It is greatly influenced by the belt scrolling action.
The art style has been influenced by underground comics since the 1960s, especially the Robert Clams and other indie comics in the 1980s and 90s. For adults, I was influenced by children's cartoon such as SuperJail! SPUMCO work, Mysterious Zone Gravity Falls and Flapjack.
As a theme, it has been influenced a lot from Paul Bar Hoven movies, especially from Robocop and Starship Troopers, and is also influenced by the satire lyrics by Dead Kennedy. I am. It also incorporates humor like tray hoodies and matte stones.
