PlayStation 5: Sony demands 2-hour test version in the PS-Plus for some games

For some games that Sony will offer in his new PlayStation Plus subscription service in the future, the console manufacturer apparently demands additional work from the developers in the form of a test version with special specifications.

The length of this test version must therefore contain at least a two-hour season if the dealer price in the PSN store is $ 34 or above.

Furthermore, developers should have three months to provide such a test version after the game in the PlayStation Store was released. If only one demo is provided instead, Sony wants to decide from case to whether this is approved.

These requirements should not apply retrospectively and do not apply to VR games, as it should be called from developer circles.

The introduction of the new PlayStation Plus subscription service will take place in June with further price levels. These include the Playstation Plus Premium level, in which the test versions in question are playable before buying.
