Dying Light 2 will have free PS4 / One update to PS5 / Xbox Series

Tech land has announced that the Versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by Dying Light 2: Stay Human will have free update to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, respectively.

The Polish company hopes so that users who are still playing in the previous generation can take the jump to the new without having to buy the game again. There is, yes, a paste: at least of launch there will be no Cross-Play or the possibility of playing the cooperative between players of different generations. Yes there will be, on the other hand, among all PC users, indiscriminately if they buy the game in Steam or at the Epic Games Store.

Regarding the Versions of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, Tech land has published two videos (one for the Sony console and another for the Microsoft console) in which the three available graphic modes are detailed. The first is a quality mode with ray tracing, the second resolution mode for 4K, and the third and last one performance mode to play 60FPS.

Dying Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be published on February 4 at PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. However, the Switch version, which will work using cloud technology, has been delayed later, having now planned a launch within six months after the original date.
